Lane Centering, yea right except when there is a tar stripe down the road. I love fighting the automatic slow down sometimes when changing lanes, at least I am a left foot braker. (For some reason one can't heel and toe the way they have the pedals set) Lane Centering costed us a lot in our 1st. week. The lane centering wobbled the wheel, the wife jerked the car into the curb. No curb rash but, the rims were bent and we lost 2 new tires. $1K lost in the 1st. week! -
I have a 2008 Edge FWD that I bought off of FB marketplace. 2 days later car starts stalling, won’t start, with no CEL on. Drove fine for 2 days. Thought it was the fuel pump at first, so I replaced that. Didn’t fix it. Finally got it to start and run, CEL came on. I got a bunch of codes, mostly O2 sensor codes with I believe the culprit being the P0102 code for MAF sensor. I replaced the MAF sensor, didn’t fix it. Now, when I unplug the MAF sensor, the car will start and run for a while, then after a few mins or so it will start struggling and stall. I checked the MAF connector with a multimeter, I have 12v, a working ground, and the signal wire reads around 2v. I checked the resistance from the PCM connectors to the MAF connector, all checked out. Still, the OBD live view shows that my MAF is reading 0 lb/s while it’s running. I’m about to take it to a shop, but wanted to check here first to see if I’m missing something. I thought maybe it could be the PCM, but the car will start and run with the MAF disconnected so that makes me think the PCM is working fine since it recognizes the sensor is disconnected. Any thoughts are appreciated.

That would be Lane Keeping. It can alert or aid with steering wheel vibrations or very minimal torque input to try to keep in the lane. Lane Centering will actually provide enough torque to fully keep the vehicle centered (well, what it considers centered), they call it assist but it will decently follow curvy roads if the markings are detectable. I hate and enjoy it on my 2019. I don't like what it considers centered, and I like that it does help with fatigue on longer drivers (I frequently do 6-12 hour drives).

My 2017 Sport has ACC and Lane Centering, but the Lane Centering is not tied into or linked to the ACC. -

I just got my ACM replaced (part by the radio) When i got my car back there was then more issues My airbag light turned on. The drivers side heated seat stopped working and the light in the cup holders stopped working. Is it possible while fixing the ACM/Radio the shop disconnected the wires or something else to these parts? (these things were working before i dropped off my car) Thanks for any help

My Edge has lighted visors... the bracket broke on the passenger side which I believe is because the arm has "locked up" so it would not swivel? I have it down but I'm wondering how to disconnect the wiring?

Ford dealer handed me an FL2123 instead of an FL910S (FL910S not readily available anymore locally via auto parts store or Walmart). I declined and got them from Rockauto and put off the oil change. While I understand that it seems like it is a new manufacturer for it, and they call it an OE Performance replacement, I don't see things like the silicone ADBV (and not real clear if that is needed with the orientation of it anyways in this usage), anyone seen anything about this and other FL2xxx replacements for other common Ford ones (my 3.5 takes an FL500S and the dealer had none of it in stock either)? The S denotes the silicone ADBV and is obvious to see through the holes at the mating side, don't see it with the FL2123. Do most here use the larger FL400S in place of the FL910S?
