    • NHTSA Recall ID Number : 24T001   Synopsis : Wheel Group Holding, LLC (WGH) is recalling certain AMP Terrain Attack R/T, Terrain Attack A/T, and Terrain Pro A/T tires with load ranges SL, XL, C, D, E, and F.   The tires are labeled as snow tires, but do not have sufficient traction to perform in all snow weather conditions.   As such, these tires fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 139, "New Pneumatic Radial Tires for Light Vehicles." Tires that do not provide sufficient traction in snow can increase the risk of a crash.   The remedy is currently under development.   Interim owner notification letters explaining the safety risk are expected to be mailed by May 20, 2024.   A second notice will be sent once the remedy has been finalized.   Owners may contact WGH customer service at 1-626-363-1666 and/or AMPQuestions@thewheelgroup.com.
    • It took me several tries, but I finally got a new Fob programmed for my 2015 Edge.  Thanks to the above exchanges I was able to learn from their wisdom and errors.  I followed the instructions on page 72 of the owners manual as recommend above.  After several failures I reread the instructions.  If the paragraph before the 7 programing steps it says that all 7 steps must be completed within 30 second.  Doing those 7 steps with in 30 seconds was the key to my success.  That worked on the first try.   All the functions on the new Fob work properly except the remote starting.  I seldom use that function, so that is not important to me for a safety backup Fob.  You have to do the 7 steps crazy fast to get it done within 30seconds.  I had to use a timer to check how fast I was doing it. I can't imagine why they designed it like that.  I would like to have a chat with the engineer that though the  30 second time limit was a good idea.  I purchased the new Fob on Amazon.  It is a NPAUTO Key Fob Replacement.  It cost $48.74 with tax.  It had the highest rating of all the different aftermarket fobs offered.  It showed 11 satisfied customers, with all 4 and 5 star ratings.  I will give it a 4 star rating because the remote start feature does not work.  I have a question about the insulator between the two batteries in the Fob. I took it out of two of the three Fobs that I now have but left it in the third Fob.  They all seem to work regardless of whether the paper insulator is between the batteries or not.  What do you know about the insulator?  The new one I got had a thin plastic washer between the batteries as an insulator.  Any thoughts?
    • I bought my Edge last summer and the dealer tried to push this service, which I declined.  There was no discussion of returning to the dealership for installation of a device.  I probably need to check things out.
    • You happen to be still around  ??? How is the ride on those springs and would you do it again  ???
    • Showing up to say hello from Michigan and spring is close !!!! Little from my end, wife driven 2007 SEL AWD knocking on 218,000 miles, not much maintenance, gotta say I really like this dang thing. Some simple issues starting to come up, but, no big deal. Just purchased a 2020 Titanium AWD, not to keen on this pos that she wanted tho. Some claim 100,000 miles, we'll see. So be putzing around with it. So far catch can ordered in, put new black wheels and the new Falken a/s tires on, all chrome and silver wrapped out, alittle tint installed. So it's a Desert Gold and Black. Smokey Yunick colors. The best thing I like about it so far.
    • I can't connect the charger. I connected power to pin 1 and charge enable to pin 3. Ground at 5 pins. Charging doesn't work. Can it work without being connected to the car.
    • Thank you very much for your help. you are the best as always
