Pics & Vid of my Modded Exhaust...

As requested I took some pics & made a little video of my exhaust setup on my 07 3.5. I did a muffler/resonator delete, added a magnaflow muffler where the resonator was & installed 3.5in chrome rolled tips. Let me know what you think...

Hey Mike, for some reason I just don't think that video does your exhaust justice!! It sounds good. Is there anyway you can get a mic up to it and record the audio and video separately? I really want to hear the real thing lol. I installed a custom exhaust on my old explorer before, so I know how much of a difference it can make. Your new system looks good and it makes me want to get one for my Edge!

& yes get a custom one made to your specs then post it for us to check out! :)

With a baby on the way, I'd have to get financial permission and I dont see that happening soon lol. Maybe in a few years. I dont remember how much they run though. Might be a few months of saving up for me. Looking forward to your new video.

Cellbine...depending on your kid they might like the extra rumble. I had removed two of my three cats and a cat back exhaust on my previous car it had a great sound to it. Was worried before the little guy came that it would be too loud for him to sleep but I think it actually helped. He always slept better in my subie than the Audi. But if your luck is like mine you'll use that as a selling point and find out your kid likes it quiet.

I love the sound, found my new exhaust setup... any improvement in MPG?

I already have 22 x 9.5 KMC 127 Dime rims, K&N Filter System, SCT Tuner, Lowered on custom springs, and getting ready to do Exhaust, Steeda Strut Bar, and maybe even one of the remaining Steeda throttle body spacers as well.

Thanks a bunch. Im not sure about getting better gas milage but I am definitely getting more hp because its less restrictive than stock. I bet it even is better flow than any catback sold because of the resonator delete. There is also no drone because of the location of the muffler. All for 1/2 the price of a cat back at ur local muffler shop. Add a CAI & the combo sounds great & the hp gain is noticable imo..

I think I'm going to do a similar setup to what you did mike, I love the sound, it even sounds good in the video, and I've already installed a CAI with a sct tuner, so the last thing to do is add the exhaust. What kind of magnaflow muffler is that? And are the inlet and outlet in the centre or was it offset?
