I drove through a large standing pool of water and after the splash my abs light, traction control light, and adaptive cruise control all became disabled. I thought the lights would go away after the vehicle dried off but they haven't. I used the cars Engineering Test Mode Chilton and was displayed DTC HIST CURR C25300 X.Any clue to finding out what the problem is? After a few weeks all the error messages cleared but the Collision Warning Malfunction light comes on every time I start the car. The same DTC is present. nuclearrat Posted October 7, 2016 Report Share Posted October 7, 2016 This code does not indicate a failure. It will set if modules do not communicate in a timely manor. It is normal for any vehicle to throw this at some point or another, which is why it doesn't turn on a telltale light, it's just something listed in engineering mode. This is partly why they don't like us poking around in there, because we think there are issues when they are really just codes for use during engineering.
