pjazzz Posted February 28, 2015 Report Share Posted February 28, 2015 (edited) I've never really had to turn the traction control off but my father in law recently bought a new fusion and got stuck in the snow and couldn't figure out how to turn it off. I never really realized it was buried in the menu. One of the reasons I bought the car was for the technology but burying the on off button in the menu to me is a design flaw. omar302 Posted February 28, 2015 Report Share Posted February 28, 2015 Believe it or not, turning off traction control is so rare that most "less involved" people won't find or even know about the Trac-off button and Some vehicles don't have a way to turn it off. I keep the screen up at all times in the winter so I have semi quick access to it. It's not easy to disable when you're in the process of getting stuck!!!!
