Liptoss Posted April 10, 2015 Report Share Posted April 10, 2015 Anyone notice if they've used their remote starter that the driver side seat heat seems to turn on? I'll start my Edge with the remote, hop in the vehicle about 2-3 minutes later, and even though I had left ALL climate OFF on vehicle shut off, including the seat warmer, my driver seat feels like it had the seat heat on. Liptoss Posted May 5, 2015 Author Report Share Posted May 5, 2015 I've moved through every menu item available on the left panel with the multi directional hat and cannot find any selection to set the heated seats. There's individual settings for the front and rear defrost and one for last setting or auto for climate but that's it. I didn't purchase my SEL with the remote start, rather it was added by my Ford dealership as a plug and play after the fact. The remote starter harness along with the hood pin switch were installed together. It's great, but I'm sure that I feel my butt being toasty upon first entering the vehicle after a couple of minutes.
