Does it seem like a decent quality? I'm concerned it wouldn't stand up well to winter salt and calcium...

well, the emblem it self is actually kind of on the heavy side, I think you can run it over with the car and it will be fine.

As far as adhesive, I'm not sure how that's going to last after awhile, I can tell you but the tape wasn't 100% straight so one of the edges isn't actually properly held together and just hangs in the air...

Apart from that, I think it will stick.

A small update on the Stainless Steel brake lines, I think they are awesome!

The brake feel is much better and I don't have the spongy feeling anymore when I try to slow down at low speeds, it's progressive and I feel like I can control how quickly I decelerate better. Before, going from 5-0 resulted in fairly random brake force applied and heads tossed and then I would wonder if the car would stop where I am trying to get it to stop not before or after.

Since there isn't much I can do for braking I am thinking of adding brake covers, my last car had real Brembo's up front and this car...well, it's got some ugly attachment that helps me stop but looks terrible...

I decided I want to go with a black cover or something resembling carbon fiber...the wheels are dark 21's so I don't think red or yellow is going to be such a great idea. If I go with black I can do front and rear, CF so far I only found the fronts.

I have not measured the brakes yet so I don't know if they will fit and then I'd have to wait like a month for them to get here from China, or I can order Black and get em in a week....sample CF photo attached.

SS lines are great, no more pedal travel that doesn't do anything. Just linear braking, took all the guess work out of it.

Brake fluid can be had on amazon for $12 bux, make sure it's DOT4 LV not regular 4.

This is only the front kit but it made all the difference!

I'll have to look into it, I think you mentioned it, but it really feels sort of spongy at low speeds. Sometimes I under or overestimate the amount of force needed, leading to a jarring braking experience. Definitely not a deal breaker, but it is something I didn't have issues with in my fusion or TL.

Laser jammer also visible in the grille of you look hard enough.

what kind of laser jammer did you go with. Been looking at the ALP....in all my research it looks to be the one most effective against the Dragon eye lidar(toughest laser system to jam).

above

1. Tools required to install MGP caliper covers

2. ALP laser jammer and Escort Redline radar detector hard wired

3. Dirty car with MGP caliper covers installed

4. Custom half unglued Twin Turbo badge (shot on a $4,000 camera with a $1,000 lens @ 1.4 - sucks at low light)

5. Dirty car with less obvious dirt, MGP caliper covers showing
