2013 SEL FWD consistent right axle seal leak

My 2013 SEL FWD has had the right front axle seal fail now for the third time. The vehicle only has 13,000 miles on it, and had been in for seal repair 3 times now.

I'm curious to see if anyone else has experienced an issue with this, and if anyone has successfully had it repaired. If so I would like to know what was found so I can suggest it to the dealer.

I'm finding it hard to believe I have just had the unfortunate luck of having 3 faulty seals back to back.

Thanks in advance for any information.

Dealerships usually have specialists that do certain types of work. You may have the bad luck of getting the same guy making the same mistake over and over. OR there is a physical problem with the opening or the drive axle shaft the seal must be installed into.

Thanks for the replies, finally catching a break with the weather today I was able to crawl under and inspect. The area is definitely dripping, when I checked the Trans fluid level it was filled to the max level. I am starting to think that they may have over filled the Trans after the last repair. Unfortunately I have to wait until Monday to put a call into the local dealer to get it looked at.

Overfilling is not good. When the fluid heats up it expands and has to go somewhere.
