"Installed new Bright TRAX LED puddle lights in my 2011 and 2016 Edges"

Recommended Posts

I purchased these LED puddle lights for my two Ford Edges, a black 2016 and white 2011. I got them at www.DriveBright.com.
Dan was great to answer a couple of questions for me before I placed the order. He is very customer service oriented.
They were super simple to install. As you can see in the photo's below, what a difference in the illumination area!! I think this is a great value.

wow, what an improvement. Looks like $57? Install looks like a simple 2 min job according to this video:

Yep, our current sale price is $57.00 for the Bright TRAX pack. You get the two Bright TRAX plug and play LED puddle lights and a bonus pair of LED replacement bulbs to replace the stock bulbs in your license plate lamps to give you a nice bright uniform white light surrounding your Edge.

Here are some more photos sent in by our Edge customers:

Gotta say, I was going to take before and after pictures, but they'd look just like all the other posts. The lighting difference is so dramatic, I was laughing after I changed one side and turned the puddle lights on. Wow. Brighter than the lights in my garage...... Entire job was 5 min tops, most of which was using a flat blade screw driver under the connector on the old lamps to "convince" them to pop off without breaking them. I didn't bother to disconnect the battery, just made sure to unplug one side at a time and immediately connect it to the new LED lamp, then do the other to eliminate any chance that you could short them together. The new LED connectors have an insulator/shield around them, so no risk once you've plugged one in

Dan includes the license plate lites too, I'll tackle that quick job tomorrow but expect the same smile effect at the difference

Interior lamps next? Already have HID, but those tail lamps are cool too............. Smiling already :number1:

  • 2 years later...

Follow up to this install 2 years later:

I had one of my puddle lights fail this weekend - bummer - but glad to say that Dan at Daytime Brightlites stood behind his product and is sending me a replacement.

Great to know there are honorable people left in this world. Thanks Dan, much appreciated They've got some pretty cool products, and I won't hesitate to use him again
