Power source

A few of us have wired radar detectors and dash cams to Delayed Accessory #23 ( http://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/19282-access-passenger-compartment-fuse-panel/ )

I have my camera wired to that one and seems to work well. Power stays on a bit after the vehicle is turned off, but the power to that fuse does turn off at some point (either timed or when door is opened, can't remember)

Of course getting to the fuse panel is an adventure in itself...

Since my boost gauge is mounted in the lower compartment in front of the shifter I ended up tapping into the light that is built into the compartment. That way when I close the compartment the lighting on the gauge shuts off, also the light will only turn on when the headlights are on.
