Keyless entry keypad popped out

While removing the first layer of snow of the year on my Ford Edge, I've noticed that my keypad was strangely loose.

Looking more closely it seems that left side metal clip is gone. Might have fell in the door (or might have been broken and somewhat glued before I buyed the Edge from the previous owner).

I would prefer to not buy another keypad since this one is working perfectly fine, so my question is how can I fix that? I am right to assume that the missing left part if the same as the right (some plastic holder with a metal clip)?

I guess I could always use Marine Silicone to "glue" the keypad back (and have a good seal)?

Take the panel off, find the clip that has been displaced, put some gorilla glue on it, let the glue dry, and pop it back into place !

Very true. It is probably still in there. I will let winter (and the freezing cold here in Canada!) pass and I will check for it at the beginning of the spring season!
