Aftermarket headlamp help please

Recommended Posts

So I bought aftermarket headlamp assemblies for my 2010 ford edge, they look great, only problem is they are not bright enough for where I live. I have the assemblies from carid.com, originalfactory assemblies call for two bulbs, a hi and a low (H11 and 9005) these aftermarket ones go to a single H11 bulb and when you activate high beams a apperture opens to widen the beam.... Problem is its still a low beam. Im wondering if anybody has used LEDs or HIDs with this aftermarket assemblies or if anybody knows how to get a 9005 bulb onto a H11 retainer ring to install in the housings?

Please note that this is NOT STREET LEGAL. If you proceed, please make certain that your headlights are carefully aimed for the sake of on-coming drivers.
