2008 Edge no heat (heater core) problem

Hi guys I'm new to the forum and recently purchased a 2008 Edge sel. Love the truck but after i bought it i realized the truck barely has any heat. The seller didn't tell me and now I'm stuck with the fix. Can you guys please point me in the right direction? The driver side blows out cold air and the passenger side blows a little bit of warm air. I felt the hoses going into the heater core and one is hot the other cold, which i think means its clocked.

You could try flushing the heater core, which I tried and it works temporarily. I placed a pressure gauge on a "flushing-manifold" that I made so I didn't over-pressurized the system during the flush. After numerous flushes, I finally replaced it because it started leaking.

It's not a difficult project although it takes a long time because there are lots of parts to remove, and there are a lot of steps.
