Where to buy or DIY way to repair tail light cover pin covers?

Recommended Posts

I was changing one of my rear bulbs on the weekend and noticed that once my bolts were off the tail light cover that it was very loose. After I slide the tail light cover out of place, I noticed that one of the pins that helps secure the cover was missing a plastic sleeve or cover. It was like a tiny condom on the pin. I checked my other tail light cover that I noticed had a gap between the body and cover, and sure enough it was missing both of these condoms.

Any idea where I can find replacement pieces or another solution that will secure the tail light cover in place? I was thinking about just wrapping the pins in a couple wraps of electrical tape to give them some grip, but was thinking that there should be something more legit that would work.
