KLinNBC Posted April 4, 2017 Report Share Posted April 4, 2017 It did not "appear" that I was saying the lifting is done by the pinch weld edge, I was absolutely saying that is the case. The lifting is completely and only by the lower edge of the pinch weld seam. The jack pad does NOT contact any part of the body other than the edge of the pinch weld seam. Chefduane - KLinNBC appears to be right for the 2015+ Edge and MkX. They do appear to use the pinch weld to lift the vehicle.
