Even used it was still twice the price of a new Craftsman from Sears. It has never needed service. I changed the oil once 15 years ago, or so. It lifts everything from my 1978 Ford 1 ton pickup to my Airstream trailer. The Airstream alone would have killed the Sears jack. They are HEAVY. I'm also pleased that its low enough to use on my wife's Mini Cooper.
