It just started doing this thing where the fan will blow for about 5 seconds, then turn off and start blowing again. I noticed that my temperature reading goes from the actual outside temp jumps at the same time, and interior lighting turns off at the same time as the blower and the temp. Anyone have any ideas? WWWPerfA_ZN0W Posted November 20, 2017 Report Share Posted November 20, 2017 Possibly an APIM issue, which Ford had issued an extended warranty for at one point. You can try recalibration to see if that helps. If not, try pulling the neg batt cable for > 30 minutes. There are OBD port based battery savers if you want to go to those lengths to preserve settings everywhere, up to you. Hopefully one of these two methods will sufficiently address the problem.
