At hard acceleration, vehicle accelerates normal until about 55mph then loses power, dings a tone, flashes a red oil can (for only a split second) then resumes normal driving. When I got home I plugged in my OBDII scanner and there were 2 codes P06DD (Engine Oil Pressure Control Circuit Performance) and P0524 (Engine Oil Pressure Too Low). Of course, I check the oil level religiously (and waited the required 30 minutes). It's at the Ford dealer now but they looked at me like I was from Mars and I didnt' get any warm and fuzzy feelings from all of them scratching their heads. WWWPerfA_ZN0W Posted January 14, 2018 Report Share Posted January 14, 2018 Not 100% on this, but I think there is an oil control solenoid that may be at fault here?
