LMS MyCal Tuner

the tuner is no longer married to my vehicle.

however, the tunes on the device are matched to my ecu strategy and ecu code. So the tunes are useless to a new buyer.

when you buy a tuner new, lms has you read your ecu to get the strategy and code and send them that info. they then write tunes based on that info and you download them to your device via their application.

since this is a used mycal, they want to confirm and wipe the tunes off of it. then have you read your ecu. at that point in time they will have custom tunes for your ecu. that cost is $300 for lifetime tunes and customization.

make sense? you're basically buying used hardware (vs new) but still paying LMS for the software for your car.

absolutely no reason to buy a mycal tuner from lms brand new. I wish i would have known that before i bought mine.

this is a good score for someone out there!

I'm considering purchasing a Livernois tuner.  Do you feel the Livernois tuner really increased the HP/Torque as much as they claim?

best way I can put it is this, With the Tune is amazing, if you flash back to the stock file (how you bought it) it will feel like you are driving a 3 cylinder geo metro, or a chevy chevette that takes 20 secs to reach 45mph

Night and day difference!  Its like being Hellen Keller and seeing and hearing in UHD and ATMOS for the first time. Its like breathing you can hold your breath but eventually you will breathe. Its like having sex, once you've had it you know you want it!

You can't unsee, unhear and unhave sex. Unless you became dumb deaf and blind and a eunuch that's what stock feels like compared to being tuned!
