Typically you drive for 10 miles or more at speeds above 20mph to get the TPMS to recognize the "new" sensors. roots57 Posted February 23, 2018 Report Share Posted February 23, 2018 I basically had the same situation, my edge came with 20" wheels then I bought an edge 21" wheel/tire package with new TPMS sensors. Up until now I've had the dealership rotate tires when doing a lube service, but plan on doing all services myself from now on, including the tire rotation. After rotation which procedure should I use to teach the TPMS which wheel is in what location, and is the learning tool worth the $25. I would only add that I had initially over inflated the tires by ~5 psi and drove it for a few minutes to make sure the sensors were not in sleep mode.
