derek_nauds Posted April 22, 2018 Report Share Posted April 22, 2018 I have a 2011 Edge and the rear windshield wiper motor isn't working properly. It responds when I turn on the hand control so it's not a hand control problem it just doesn't stop at the right location. The wiper starts and stops in seemingly random locations, the timing is off. enigma-2 Posted April 22, 2018 Report Share Posted April 22, 2018 Most likely cause is the wiper has come loose on the pivot arm. Remove the attachment nut, reposition the arm so that the blade is parallel with the bottom defroster grid line, and tighten the nut to 12 in/lb. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
