2011 EDGE Limited water pump failure= engine swap

I am new to this forum, I apologize if this has been posted before. I saw a downloaded service manual but it was expired wouldn't let me download. my wifes edge water pump went bad last week @150k so I purchased a used motor either 49k or 59k cant remember and going to do the swap, can someone give me the manual for the 2011 edge 3.5 swap.

i had no idea about this water pump design, i have never had any issues with the motor or tranny, did plug change at 100k changed intake gaskets then..etc.. didn't even realize the pump was internal. So after i figured out what was going on. i instantly checked my 2016 f150 2.7 eco supercrew water pump location lol.

Thanks a lot, Josh

As it's extensive, consider purchasing a service manual off Ebay. Money well spent on such an important undertaking.

For the complete set.

Coolant was original was about to flush during next oil change, from what I have read that was a big mistake, the new motor will be done every 30

Hey Im going through this right now. Curious where you got your motor. I found one with 26k for 1500.00 through First Class Engines. I cant do the install though so Im having that done at a shop. Trying to do this without breaking the bank, Its adding up though.

Before you install the engine, I would recommend changing the water pump, guides, timing chain, spark plugs, PVC, and anything else you can think of prior to placing it in the engine bay. These engines are "good-used", not rebuilt. Who knows what parts are good now only to fail in 5k?

And while it's out, how about the TSS & OSS in the transmission? Easy to get to now.
