I have a 2015 Edge, and once in a while, the rear view camera will randomly turn on while I'm driving. Sometimes it gives a little knock, and then the camera turns on. Left at the dealer for 1 week, they weren't able to replicate ... but of course, a few days later it did it again. Thanks. Picture of what happens below. No fix for it I am not sure about the build data for the 2nd Gen Edge but from the picture that looks like the base sync system which I believe is standard on the SE and I do not think that the SE has active park assist so I am not sure that this is the correct answer.
