Had a year of perfect function, then my drive side went out...contacted dan and he sent me a new set of bulbs, no questions asked. Then about 2 months later my passenger went out. Installed the second bulb of the new set he gave me, and now its flickering and not turning on. I thought you only need the relay if you went high wattage? Im probably gonna install it tonight or just switch back to plain ol halogens because its been a pretty frustrating experience. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
fishx65 Posted August 8, 2018 Report Share Posted August 8, 2018 It's the luck of the draw with cheap Chinese kits but a beefy waterproof harness may help out. My $45.00 35/5000 kit has been going strong for over 6 years. I would talk to Dan about sending the bulbs and ballasts back and starting fresh. WWWPerfA_ZN0W Posted August 10, 2018 Report Share Posted August 10, 2018 I think the ballasts likely are at fault, OR not playing well with the Gen 2 system.
