Blmkso Posted August 24, 2018 Report Share Posted August 24, 2018 I just noticed that the traffic feature on our 16 Edge is no longer working. From the little research Ive done it looks like traffic , weather , and restaurant locations are all gone. Anyone know if I can get them back . I thought it was supposed to be 5 year thing. jmr061 Posted August 24, 2018 Report Share Posted August 24, 2018 Check your subscription status in the SYNC3/Sirius system. If it says unsubscribed and you were supposed to be under the free 5 year plan contact Sirius and expect a long, polite argument with them. Blmkso Posted August 25, 2018 Author Report Share Posted August 25, 2018 I talked to Sirius and the 1st rep said the dealer cancelled the subscription the day we bought the car new and to contact the dealer. I did that and they were as puzzled as I was. Called Serius back and the 2nd rep admitted they made a mistake but that I had to call the dealer and have them call Serius to reactivate the traffic. I called my Ford dealer and they said they never reactivated the account because they can’t. So obviously Sirius did something to try to fix the issue but it’s now not working.
