kenthurgood Posted August 28, 2018 Report Share Posted August 28, 2018 Hi, My 2015 Edge had a P1450 code showing. Dealer changed EVAP vent solenoid. Same code came back and they changed it a second time. That repair lasted 6 days and now I have a P1451 code. Appreciate any knowledge of what this is. WWWPerfA_ZN0W Posted August 29, 2018 Report Share Posted August 29, 2018 Ever since the introduction of the capless fuel filler, there have been numerous reported failures of the EVAP Purge Valve, much less so of the canister vent valve. The purge valve is in the engine bay, and the vent valve is underneath the passenger compartment along with the EVAP canister. I would pull vacuum on the purge valve to see if it is faulty.
