SilverEdge2 Posted March 12, 2011 Report Share Posted March 12, 2011 We just bought a 2011 Edge in December. At least five times now, we've heard a really loud pop. It usually happens at a slow speed (like 25). My husband says it sounds like the AWD is trying to kick on (the roads are not wet/icy). I think it sounds like it may be trying to switch gears (I never have and never will drive it in "M"). Any ideas? We are calling the dealership on Monday.
