hello, I have a 2014 SEL 3.5L and although there is a lot about the car that I like, I do find that the engine is not super responsive...slow to respond etc... I have plans to add some bolt-on parts ( cold air intake, cat-back exhaust ) to help it breathe better but I am curious if anyone has found a good performance tuner or something? I drive in Sport mode all the time because otherwise it feels like I'm driving a turbo with bad turbo lag, haha....I know the motor is supposed to put out decent HP but it doesn't feel like it gets to the wheels. I would prefer to avoid doing much physical modification to the engine ( haven't even looked into what's out there ) but I noticed a thread about an SCT tuner and a tuner guy in the US that people recommend...didn't see much else about plug-in tuners, maybe I missed a thread somewhere? I'm not very concerned about fuel economy, personally, so it would be strictly a performance upgrade I'm looking for. Any help would be appreciated!

Ford Procal - factory tunes, 50 state legal, keep your warranty?
foghelmut posted a topic in EcoBoost Mod & Tech
Has anyone done this with an Edge? I don't see it specifically listed but its the same motor. https://performanceparts.ford.com/procal/ Ford delivered tunes that will not void warranty and are legal in all states. I think the device is about $600 -
I have an SCT SF3 tuner for sale that comes loaded with 3 tunes (3 octanes). The tunes were originally for a 2012 3.5L but I had it on my 2013 3.7L without any issues. You can definitely feel a difference. This was purchased from morepowertuning.com. I don't remember what I paid but it was more than the $299.99 that they are selling an open box one for now. It is not married and has at least 1 unlock left. I will need to check how many it has left. I am looking for $200 or best offer. I am selling the Ford Edge so I don't need this any longer.

95 Octane & Fuel Economy My Ford service provider (Dubai-UAE) said that there is an additive in the 95 octane (recently added) that's affecting the fuel economy. This answered why I was getting between 7.8 - 8.3 km/L (18.3 - 19.5 mpg) combined, which means around 500-550km on a tank (depending on how heavy my foot is). So the service provider advised I change to 98 octane - which I did this morning which gave me at the end of today 8.9 km/L (20.9 mpg) combined. Which means technically I should get 600-647km to the tank (depending on how heavy my foot is). What fuel do you use and what's your economy rate?

Interesting information on the 3.5 and 3.7 L cyclone engine. http://www.supersixmotorsports.com/_pdf/cyclone-tech-v2.pdf and for those wanting a little more zip, a stroker kit is available. increases the displacement to 4.0 L. http://www.supersixmotorsports.com/_pdf/3.5_3.7_V6_EcoBoostProducts.pdf Fun stuff, maybe better on a Mustang or Taurus.

Hey Guys, Today I am selling my prozen intake as I am selling my edge to a friend. It is for a 2011-2013 for edge 3.7/3.5. They unfortunately do not want the intake and I said I would sell it instead. Its a female friend, so now it should make sense to everyone. **I will take $125 shipped** I will also through in a new filter with the intake. I will be adding a picture later today. -Mike
