    SSM 47251 – 2015-2018 Edge/2016-2018 MKX – Remote Start Selections Grayed Out For Heated Steering Wheel/Heated Seats Some 2015-2018 Edge and 2016-2018 MKX vehicles may exhibit a concern with the remote start selections for heated steering wheel and/or heated seats grayed out in the cluster. To correct this concern, reconfigure the front controls interface module (FCIM) using As-Built Programming. Make sure you are connected to the internet when entering module programming to obtain the latest data. If the concern is still present, refer to Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 501-10A for the directed self-test for the FCIM. For claiming, use causal part 18842 and applicable labor operations in Section 11 of the Service Labor Time Standards (SLTS) Manual.
