Took my 2013 Edge into shop to have it diagonosed for brake problem, ( son in law, mechanic is doing work) When I got car back my navigation kina disappeared. Only thing that shows is the direction ball. I ordered the new navigation chip, ( A10) and thought it would update.. but no.. I have the original A4 chip too. that was in car when I bought it. ( only had since Dec. 2018) No extended warranty.. Help... how can I get Navagation to work... error says. " Not in root system"..

I have a 2013 Edge. For the past year it has been having intermittent steering problems. They typically occur when changing directions (in a parking lot) going from park to reverse to drive, and when turning into parking spaces. The steering gets stiff and you need to "muscle it" to make direction changes. It feels like a huge truck in 4 wheel drive low. The dealership has tried for a year to replicate the problem. Finally a service manager was driving car and felt the problem. They replaced the entire power steering system.'This did not correct the problem. Now they tell me the car drives fine, but it does not under the circumstances described above.

Is there a factory option for a 2-Way Remote Start?

When I first bought my 2013 Edge Limited it came with the Factory Remote Start which is great but was told that there was a 2-way option which showed up online as an option but everytime I tried to order it they said it woudln't fit my vehicle. Even the dealer showed it as an option until they ordered it and somehow said it wasn't possible. Does anyone know for sure if its possible? -

Has anyone used fabric protector on their cloth seats? I was thinking about using KiWi Camp Dry Fabric protector ( no silicone) also not the waterprooofing kiwi. I haven't heard too much good about Scotch Gard though it's been around for a long time. Any thoughts?????? Larry Northern,In

Windshield Scratches?

Hey eveyrone, I have a 2013 Edge Limited that I picked up about 2 weeks ago. I could have sworn when I picked it up that when driving it I saw some random light scratches on the windshield but they only showed up when the sun hit it a certain way. Since then it looks like I have some more noticable scratches on the drivers side windshield and it got me to thinking about a Edge Rental I had a few months ago. This Edge has severe scratches on the passenger side windshield that were very, very noticeable. Has anyone else noticed this? Is this an known issue with the Edge? I've done some searching around and can't seem to find anything specific but figured that this would be the best place to post / find out. -
2013 Edge SEL. Had it 3 days. Backing out of your place in the parking lot is difficult. The back window is very small anyway; the headrests on the second row almost obscure what visibility there is; the solid piece at the back corners, on either side of the back windshield, is very wide. The windshield is placed very high and blocks vision behind you. I think it would be impossible to parallel park. I would like to remove the second row headrests and saw instructions for a 2011. I tried and couldn't do it. Has anyone done this on a 2013?

Hi, I am moving from Canada to the US and just purchased a 2013 Ford Edge SEL with 2.0L Ecoboost Engine. It is Tuxedo Black with Black Leather interior. It also has a remote starter (2 Keys have Starter Control, 2 extra keys = 4 keys total). I am looking for someone to take over my monthly payments. I live in Mississauga, ON.
