I’m wondering if anyone has replaced the turbo on the 2.0l ecoboost themselves? I ordered the turbo and have the Ford workshop manual already. I watched several YouTube videos on replacing the turbo on an Explorer. Once they disconnected everything, they removed the turbo by pulling it up, after removing a shock tower brace. It doesn’t look like there is a way to get the turbo out the top on the Edge. After looking around underneath, I question how to get it out from below. Before I start taking this apart, just curious how to get the turbo out? The workshop manual doesn’t actually say how to get the turbo out of the engine bay. Any info, links, or help would be appreciated.

I designed a small tool that fits snug on the radiator drain valve / petcock on my 2.7L Ecoboost, but I believe it will also work on 2.0L and other models as well. I am not 100% sure how wide spread the 19mm petcock is in the Ford lineup. I designed this to fit and hold onto the petcock so the extension and ratchet can just stay there while flushing cycles on the cooling system. No need to get under the car, you can do this laying next to the drivers side wheel easily (once the splash shields are removed). Based on some requests I printed a handful of them and are selling them (and will make more if there is demand, and other sizes if people have requests) on my store: https://jk3d.us/product/ford-ecoboost-radiator-drain-tool/ The tool is printed in chemical resistant, and highly durable Carbon Fiber Nylon and should last a very very long time. I am selling these for $7. Pics of the tool: I posted the design for free on Thingiverse if you want to print it yourself: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4939121

Hello everyone, MAC T here and I am starting a new topic called double edged. The situation is as follows: I currently own and drive two Ford Edges. This topic will be used to follow two 2011 Ford Edge Limited as they both experience usage in opposition. The Blue Metallic 2011 (MOMOSHA Car) driven mostly city driving and virtually no highway vs the Cinnamon Metallic 2011 (work car) which will be driven 95 percent of the time on interstates in long haul driving situations. How will each one handle the different driving conditions? What repairs will result in the greatly different usage? Time will tell and it will be documented on this topic. Note: The documentation of most repairs will be on video.

Okay so I asked about a week ago if it was possible to do an aftermarket sub and amp install on a model that didn't include a stock sub (Without SONY). I didn't have many replies, I only assume because it's quite the task to do an install without a factory sub being in place already. But I have done it:

MercyGirl productions has now created head to head comparison of the tail lights with this follow up video on how to replace the tail light brake lights in a 2011 ford edge. The one noticeable difference is the 2008 only uses one bulb in the brake lights and the 2011 uses two bulbs in each brake light. The 2011 has less charring on the light socket as you see in the video. The 2011 has less years and miles so the sockets are of course in better condition. Enjoy the video. Compared to the 2008
