2017 Edge sport 2.7 Why would my check engine light come in when either traction control or ABS activate? When this happens, either the traction control or ABS indicator flashes as it should, then engine light comes on. This has happened 2x now. The last time I reset the light via ForScan. This time I'm going to wait to see if it cycles off. Either way, I'd like to know if there's more to this. Any feedback on this? Thanks -
Brake Pedal continues to go to the floor

Hello my name is Cameron and I'm working on a 2013 edge right now and have done the brakes but the pedal is still going to the floor. I've replaced the master cylinder, abs module, put new rotors in the rear resurfaced the front and put new pads all the way around. I have bled the brakes I would say a tot of ten times and the pedal hasn't changed. It'll feel like it's going to build pressure but still does not. Can anyone help? -
My ABS kicks in when driving on flat, dry pavement. This has been happening more and more lately. No light comes on and no fault codes are present. The wheel speed sensors are generally all consistent with each other so I do not think it's one of them or a tone ring, though I am no expert. Attached is some ABS log data from my OBDlink MX+ at half second intervals. Some sensors do not seem to output at that rate but you can get the general picture. This was a 5 minute, 2 mile drive with two brief instances where the ABS was active (highlighted in the file). I would appreciate it if someone can take a look and see if anything stands out. 2011 Edge Ltd - I changed the blink count in the turn signal duration from 3 to 5 (SCCM 724-01-01 7 to 'B' in Forscan). When I went to write it back to the SCCM, it said there is a checksum error - continue? First time I said no and tried a different value ('A') but the same thing. I wrote it anyway assuming Forscan would calculate the checksum before writing it. As soon as I switched off then on, I had a TRACTION CONTROL SERVICE REQUIRED notice on the display panel. The two idiot lights for traction control and traction control off were lit. I refreshed the connection to OBD and looked at DTC's and the ABS module had both a checksum DTC and an 'unknown value' codes set. I put my As built data back in the SCCM and cleared the ABS code and it was gone. Has anyone run into this error?

So we have a 2007 edge and the ABS and stability light is on. If we let it sit over night the lights go off. Drive it somewhere, park it, come back to it to drive home the lights come back on. The code is a C1115 FORD - ABS Power Relay Circuit Failure/Short To Battery. I have no idea what that could be. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Lately my '08 AWD Edge has been feeling like there's been some hesitation and hard shifts. Took it to the dealer, they can't find anything. 2 weeks later, i'm driving in a small town - slow speed, stop & go and suddenly the ABS, powertrain and traction control lights comes on all at the same time. So I brake, and it feels like i'm braking on ice ( I was only going 10 miles an hour). I stopped the car , turn it off, warning lights are still on. I drive half a mile, and the lights go off one by one. Any idea? -
Battery, ABS, Traction Control, & Check Brake System Lights

I have a 2007 Ford Edge that has been acting up since I had the battery replaced in November 2016. When my car warms up, the battery light, check brake system, traction control, and ABS lights come on periodically. Then I lose my gauges, power windows, locks, sun roof, turn signals, satellite radio, blower fan, etc and then it the engine cuts out like it is going to die, but it hasn't yet. All of this goes on for a few minutes and then it will run fine again for a bit. It does not do this when it is really cold outside and has never overheated on me. I bought the vehicle in October and it did not start doing this until November when the battery was replaced by the dealer when they programmed another key for me. They say the the alternator, battery cables, etc need to be replaced, but the battery seems to be charging fine. The voltage is always WNL. Please help. Heather -
ABS- traction light blinks when turn to left, car jerks.

My problem is when I turn left on the stop sign, traction control light goes on for a second and car jerks for a second. I noticed this problem only when the weather is cold ( bellow 2-3 C or 38 F). The road is dry and no snow. I had this problem last winter and at first sign of spring and warmer weather I have changed the ABS sensor on the front left wheel. All summer was OK and beginning of the winter it started again. If I press on the gas little bit more sometimes doesn't jerk. Is it faulty sensor or something else? Thanks. -
Hi here, maybe someone has an solution! I had changed my Battery yesterday and since that the ANTI theft Light is on all the Time and Car can not Start.. So use my Diagnostic tool to find out whats happen. All Systems fine, but can not reach the PCM,ABS and AIRBAG Computers anymore.. So dind someone now how too reset that Thing?? Or any Idea will help.. thanks Max from Europe

I got abs and traction control light on, ordered rear ABS sensor ( my mechanic gave me the code and went on vacation), started to install today and during removal of old sensor stuck with piece of old sensor still in the hole. What is easiest way to remove this piece? any suggestion appreciated, thanks.
