Sync 2 ver 3.5 and iphone 14 pro max

Hello…we got our daughter a 2013 Edge Limited with sync. She loves it. We also just upgraded to iphone 14 pro max. Problem is, after we got the phones about a month ago, her bluetooth keeps kicking off and she can not re-add the phone. I am going to try and upgrade the sync to the newest software, but was curious if anyone else has had this issue…she loves the car and the sync… -
Sync3 version 2.2 on 2012 Ford Focus complete blackout

Its been 3 days since my sync3 has been completely blacked out. Initially there were issues with connecting phone via bluetooth. After rebooting my phone, it got reconnected to SYNC however SYNC blanked out in few minutes and then never turned on. Currently my radio, navigation, bluetooth everything is not working. I tried pressing the power and tune+ buttons at the same time for few minutes, but nothing happened. I also tried removing the fuse, turned the car on for few minutes, then turned it back off, put the fuse back in. However no help. Please suggest any alternative method to resolve this issue, or is my module dead? I am thinking of showing it to a dealer, however my car is past the warranty. Any idea how much would the dealer charge for consultation and repair work? I am currently driving a 2012 Ford Focus SEL. -

So I'm being forced to upgrade to the iFone 7 at work. ( I say forced as there was nothing wrong with my 6s, its just the end of our contract) When the 7 first came out there were reports of BT being very flaky and dropping every few minutes/seconds and other issues. Can any one report that this is or is NOT still the case?

Sync 3 and Sandisk Clip Sport Plus MP3 Player

I just got a 16 GB Sandisk Clip Sport Plus with Bluetooth MP3 Player with the hopes of pairing it with my 2017 Ford Edge Titanium with Sync 3 (301A). They seem to pair up fine, yet the MP3 Player won't play through my car. My Clip Sport Plus recognizes the device as "Ford Edge", and my Edge recognizes my MP3 device as "Clip Sport Plus". The Edge said, "Pairing to Clip Sport Plus successful, would you like to listen to it now?" (or something like that), and when I clicked Yes, the current Audio Source (Sirius) keeps playing and doesn't switch to the Clip Sport Plus. So I go to Sources --> Bluetooth Stereo --> Clip Sport Plus, and choose Connect Device, but the Edge infotainment keeps telling me "Connection Failed. No response from Device". The device is on and I've even tried pausing and un-pausing the MP3 Player while trying to connect to it. Any idea on why this won't all function the way I expected it to? I have read the manual for the Clip Sport Plus and the Edge. I searched this forum for related threads, but can't find my problem being talked about elsewhere. I know that the Clip Sport Plus uses the A2DP Bluetooth Stereo profile. My Sync 3 version is 2.2, Build 16280 (I know 17011 is an available update, but I don't want to update it unless it will specifically fix the issue I'm having). Sorry for the long post. Any feedback will be greatly appreciated. -
I have a Samsung S4 and the sync works fine, I have no issues until someone calls me. First my phone will ring and take about seconds for it to ring on my MFT. Then when I hit accept, the music comes back on for another 3 seconds and THEN to my call. Since I have no issues with syncing music at all I was wondering if there are any troubleshooting ideas people had... Also, I noticed that even though my phonebook is synced, the contact names do not show on the screen right dashboard console screen, is there a fix for that??

Recently bought 2011 Edge and have Samsung Brightside phone. I get it connected to sync bluetooth just fine and it works great... for a couple of days. After a few days it won't connect to phone. All I can figure to do is delete the phone and then add it back in again. It works for a few days then rinse repeat. Any ideas why it won't stay connected? I checked and software is up to date on both phone and car.

I am not getting sound when I go bluetooth off my iphone. The screen says it has picked up the signal. .....car problem or iphone problem? suggestions? Thanks!

Please Help: iPhone 5/SYNC Bluetooth Stereo Issue

Hello all. I am in need of some help. Up until a few days ago, my iPhone 5 worked perfectly with my Ford Edge. Now, though, only the phone connection works over Bluetooth. Whenever I want to listen to music from my iPhone over bluetooth, the connection message comes up but never connects. When I press the voice button and say "Bluetooth Stereo," it tells me that it cannot connect to the phone. I don't know why it has stopped working and I cannot seem to fix it. I have unpaired and re-paired the phone and sync, I have reset my phone, and I have tried resetting the network settings on my phone. Nothing seems to work. Can anyone help me with this issue? Please assist me so I can once again listen to music from my iPhone over the bluetooth connection. Thank you. -
Has anyone experienced the following issue(s)? If so, what can I do to resolve? Bluetooth drops in and out when playing music. I could play a song from the phone but it sometimes behaves as if it is buffering because it will drop and then come back sped up and then slow down With my S3, I could not answer the phone using Sync. I had to take the phone off of handset and then put it back on in order for the sound to come through. I upgraded to an S4 thinking the S3 was the issue. At first, the S4 was fine but the issue started flaring up again.

Any way to add Bluetooth to 2007 OEM Navigation unit?

I have a 2007 AWD SEL PLUS with original navigation unit and wanted to know if anyone knows of a way to add bluetooth to this unit. I want to avoid those parrot style add ons because I've heard mixed reviews on them. Love this forum, thanks everyone! Fred
