    Gas/Fuel Tank Leak

    2007 Edge has "rotted" fuel tank all around the seams and on top when fuel enters ("rotted" in quotes per Ford dealer mechanics). Huge chunks of rusted metal falling off! Ford says no recall, NHTSA says they can only document it. Many other customers have complained with exactly the same symptoms, model, etc. Who needs to die or have their house blow up from leaking fumes before something is done?! Cost is always around $2000 for new tank and another $100-200 for car rental while Edge gets repaired. Then what? Another 7 years and another new fuel tank?!
