  1. Which brand would be a better choice on the Front Strut Mounts for my 07 FWD Edge? MC, KYB or Moog? The Moog & KYB look little different than the MC's. Also, MC or KYB for the Struts correct? And would Stock Springs still be any good with 250k on em?
  2. Video addressing how to remove and then install after market Moog sway bar links on a 2011 Ford Edge limited FWD with 131,000 miles.
  3. Here is a review of the Moog Lower Control Arm with ball joint assembly. This part runs approximately $75.00 through amazon. The Ford OEM will run you about 230.00 dollars. I have installed about three or these. You do not need to install the whole arm as I have never had a control arm bushing go bad, but in order to install the ball joint you have to almost remove the LCA anyway or at least the strut and drive shaft. I have found it easier to remove the LCA and install a new one. Here is the video review on the Moog LCA for the Right side of the Edge.
  4. I have been replacing my front end suspension parts with MOOG replacement parts, I have found the MOOG to be great quality and are exactly the same as the OEM (Motorcraft) parts. The MOOG parts appear to be powder coated not dipped in paint. The cost was also less. The outer Tie rods were heavy quality and exact replacement. The MOOG parts also come with grease fittings which the motorcraft do not. The swaybar links were also of similar quality and appeared to be well constructed. Be carefull of some other brands as they are definately sub par and I sent them back and went with the MOOG. The best prices seemed to be between Oreillys Auto Parts and Summit Racing online.
