  1. My AC/Heater fan works intermittently. If its not working and I drive long enough, it will eventually come on but that may take 15-30 minutes. I've seen several topics on this but none with exact symptoms so not sure if it is the motor (doubt it since it will eventually work), the resistor, or the controller. Thanks!
  2. I watched this video to guide me along the process of DIY spark plugs changes... I get all the way to removing the cover off the engine itself and it seems that he assumed maybe somewhere along the way I would figure out something on my own. At the back of the cover itself is a 90 degree bent house with what appears to be a metal casing around it. The top of the house is clamped to the the back of the cover unit and the bottom presumably goes into the engine. He didn't seem to detail it in the video (maybe I had a few too many beers and missed it?) or my Edge is just special. I doubt my car is special, other than the fact it seems to just be a piece of work. Attached is a series of pictures starting from the top, moving to the left side of the cover, and a closeup of the hose at the back, hopefully to show y'all the exact position of the hose. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE. Can anyone guide me with how to properly detach this house to get the top casing off so I can change the back three spark plugs? Much appreciated, thanks so much.
  3. All, A close friend has a 2011 Ford Edge SEL and her wipers stopped working in a rain storm. The dealer initially said the switch was bad and went to replace it then ended up replacing the wiper motor saying it had burned out. Everything is now working correctly. Question is this a one off or has anyone else experienced this type of failure on the wiper or switch?

    Shifting question...

Good evening everyone. I have a 2008 3.5 AWD Ford Edge that recently crossed over the 100,000 mile mark. Recently i did a bit of service on it to include the following. Replaced the original waterpump for a ford original part. Replaced the oil with penzoil full synthethic after two engine flushes ( with a k&n filter after ) Drained and filled the tranny fluid with spec fluid ( 11 bottles of fluid ) Replaced the spark plugs to the .54 spec. ( All six plugs ) Put half a bottle of seafoam in the with the motor oil. ( Was this a good idea? ) Put in one bottle of seafoam in with the gas tank before a fill up. Also did a power steering fluid drain and refill. My question / issue that I have is Whenever I go to accelerate it starts to pull or "jerk" while its shifting. I cant really do any hard acceleration or quick take offs. If I dont do anything but a normal from a complete stop then I have this issue again and again. What could be the cause of this issue? What can I do to resolve it? I know this is very vague but Im not quite sure how to explain it and I hope that someone out there can help me?
