The seats’ heating on my ST is excessive, regardless of the setting, on driver and passenger sides. Does someone know ForScan codes for controlling these settings?

Does anybody have issues with the "suede" seat inserts in the '17 Sport Edge? I have had leather in every vehicle in the last 20+ years and hate these suede inserts. I'm guessing they're designed to keep you in your seat a little better as a "sport" option but I hate them. You can't move and it feels like I'm "stuck" to the seat. Any ideas for leather seat covers? I've got the ventilated and heated seats; will any solution render that useless? thanks for any help.

Hello all, I am new to the Edge and Ford family (although my family isn't...they only buy Ford's). I had my transmission on my 2011 Honda Element die out on me last month (LOVED that car) - but after looking tried the Escape, but was too uncomfortable. Got the base model of the 2017 Edge. The seats though are atrocious. I'll admit I'm not skinny...Not a blimp, but am overweight. I may be the only one...who knows...but the seats are hard to sit in as it causes massive pain to my back with arthritis in it and hurts my rear. So I bought Perfect Posture seat cushion and lumbar support, however now I'm so high, I can't see the stop lights without ducking. Has anyone had pain issues? Done anything? Also, since the base version doesn't have SiriusXM (for some reason), I added it aftermarket. I called Ford customer support and asked if I can switch the Sync 1 with Sync 3. They tell me that I can't. I called Crutchfield and they said it can be done but usually by the dealerships - and that the Edge, Escape, and Explorer have some issues with that. I called the dealer and they said they could do it for $2500 (saying the harness was $500 (Crutchfield has it for $130)). Has anyone heard of that? Prices?

I have the Edge SEL and I am wondering exactly what kind material the seats consist of. My front seats are soft and "leathery" in some areas and harsh almost like vinyl in other areas. the back seats are perfect..My car is pre-owned and thinking it could be sun damage? I'd like to know what my best options are for cleaning the front seats.

I test drove a 2011 Edge and had a concern about the seat durability. The seats are very soft and when you get out it appears the side bolster is crushed over the plastic piece with the controls. It seems the seat would wear out in no time. Have you had problems with your Edges seat wearing out from exiting the vehicle over time?

does anyone here knows how to make the seats shiny? any specific product that you recommend? thanks!

Just bought my first Ford, a 2011 Edge from a private party. I am wondering if some of the interior trim pieces are missing. Is there supposed to be a cover over the bolts for the rear seat? And is the motorworks for the front seat supposed to be visible? Are they part numbers for these covers? I had difficulty in finding the part number to replace the passenger inboard set rack cover.
