Hi Trying to keep my Ford Edge 2015 2.0 sel awd up Currently the dash is telling me it can’t find the left front tpms …. Had my repair guy rotate tires and asked to have the tpms checked out. Got the car back, left front still showing no response. Kinda pissed they didn’t tell me. Apparently the changed the tpms in the tire , rotated and called it a day. So, got a tpms tester. It’s reading all tires. But apparently the car isn’t reading the left front. So is it a receiver issue? My repair manuals aren’t going into detail on this. Thanks!

Hey Everyone, I have a 2010 Edge, and recently the RPA alarm goes off when there is nothing behind you. Sometimes it is constant, other times it is a few chirps a second, or once every couple seconds, there is no consistency to it. I have washed the sensors, made sure they were not scratched or knocked out of their positions. I made sure that all 4 sensor are clicking when the car is in reverse, which they are. No service lights come on, on the dash. I turned the RPA off, but it does turn itself back on. I haven't been able to find much online about it. Any ideas?

So we have a 2007 edge and the ABS and stability light is on. If we let it sit over night the lights go off. Drive it somewhere, park it, come back to it to drive home the lights come back on. The code is a C1115 FORD - ABS Power Relay Circuit Failure/Short To Battery. I have no idea what that could be. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

2016 Ford Edge SEL w/ 5,000 miles - runs fine, but CEL on with P013, P0054, P0141, P0036. This last time the Ford Dealer said they fixed it. I drove AROUND THE BUILDING Aand the CEL came back on. They checked it again and said it now has different codes (I was not told what ones). It has been 5 days since they are waiting for "Tech Support" to call them back. I bet they just updated PCM and did not clear old codes or a file got corrupted. Now they do not know what to do. Any suggestions? I may find another dealer, but I bought the car new from them...

They determined that CODE P0299 TURBO CHANGER BYPASS SENSOR/ SOLENOID INTERMITTENTLY NOT WORKING ( PART BB5Z-9F479-A) and need to be replaced. 2007 ford egde having a transmission issue. Every once in a while it would have a slightly hard shift, ususally when accelerating fast to merge into traffic. But earlier this week it completely stopped working after stopping at a stop sign. Aftrer turning off the car for a few seconds I turned it back on and it engaged very rough. After that it wouldn't shift out of first gear. The engine RPMs were high and my speed was low. It felt as if it was slipping. If I kept my momentum up I could drive about 20-30, but if I had to stop I would have to turn the car off and wait a bit until I could continue on. The really odd thing was after sitting and waiting at a light about 2 blocks away from Aamco shop for a minute or so I turned the car back on and for those last two blocks the car acted normal. I was able to accelerate up to 50 and the car shifted normal. I pulled it into Aamco and later that day got a call that they couldn't get the car to move at all. They didn't find any codes, my fluid was at the proper level but smelled and looked burned (says the shop). They said they should do a rebuild. My question is what would cause these semi-intermittent issues where it would drive normal after sitting off for a while. I have the transmission apart down to the OSS and TSS sensors. (There were several small metal shavings attached to the TSS sensor when i pulled it out.) How far should I tear it down. What else should I be looking for? I would rather find the cause and fix it myself or at least verify it needs a rebuild before spending 3Gs on it. Thanks in advance

I bought my Edge LTD on February 2013 and since by local laws I needed winter tires I ask the dealer to remove the 18” chrome clad tires and install the 17” winter tires I bought from him. Two months later I removed myself the 17” winter tires and installed the 18” chrome clad and drove all summer with no problem. Last December, I removed again the summer tires and installed the winter ones and all went fine again. Last Monday, I removed the winter tires and installed the summer ones again. Checked the pressure in all and it was 36psi. Next day was a heavy rain day, start the car and noticed nothing on the dashboard and drove for about 3 miles to a store. When I got back into the car and drove another 10 miles the TPMS message came on. Stopped and checked all tires and nothing was wrong and finally went home. Car stayed all night in the garage including all day Tuesday and I thought that now she will dry enough to get no messages again. Today I went out but the message now says “Tire Pressure Sensor Fault”. Car has 12000km Should I go to the dealer or there is something I can do myself?
