  1. I discovered over the last couple of days that my navigation system says I have no GPS, I can not call out or answer calls verbally on my phone. Also the "Audio button" on bottom left of screen does not respond. There may be other symptoms I have yet to discover but that is enough for the moment. I checked/tested fuse # 32 (10 amp) in the passenger compartment fuse panel under the dash and that appears to be okay. I have done a master reset to no avail. This all started when last week the electric cooler fan would not shut off when I shut the car off. I got caught downtown with a dead battery and a good Samaritan gave me jump start with one of those new little jump start batteries.. Since it was late at night when I got home and the fan wanted to keep running I disconnected the battery over night and charged it up. I swapped out Relay #39 in the engine compartment fuse box and that solved that problem. NOW I have the problem described in the first paragraph. Can one or more folks give me some ideas as what to check next? I was sure it was the fuse # 32 (10 amp) but it looked both good and tested good. Any help will be much appreciated.
  2. Got rid of the corrosive orange and went with the Peak 10X. Why? Because Ford put out documentation to flush it out and replace it with yellow.
  3. I am looking into a used 19 Edge Titanium with only 6000 miles on it as well as a new 2020 SEL. Can anyone who has had the Titanium give me a history on a serious problems with it? I have always had a Ford and currently on our second Edge right now, a 2013 SEL and before that had a 2009 Limited with never any problems.
  4. We currently have a 2013 Edge SEL with 113,000 miles on it. It had an ESP on it up to 100,000 miles and the ESP was barely used. I also had a 2011 Explorer XLT that I bought used back in 2014 with 27,000 miles on it. When it was about to hit the factory warranty deadline Ishopped around and purchased a Ford ESP from Anderson Koch Ford in MN, I live in PA. Glad I did because that Explorer had tons of problems. I traded it in 2017 to lease a Nissan Rogue which I have to turn in next month. I am going back to a Ford but looking at a used 2019 Edge Titanium with 27,000 miles on it and wanted to get any suggestions on getting an ESP near the end of the factory warranty on this? Our 13 Edge has been great and is our second one when we had a 2009 Edge Limited before that. Any thoughts of where and should I get one on the used Edge? Is it worth it?
  5. Hi there Everyone. I'm new to the forum. I'm from South Texas and I own a 2015 Edge SEL. Thanks for having me. Question: Does anyone have a clue what bulb size is the Front bumper Daytime Running Lights aka "Foglights" or as Parts Ford Rep stated Side markers. The Rep could not tell me because she stated it wasn't noted cause they only sell the entire assembly. I do plan on checking it myself when I have time. Just thought I'd ask before finding the time to get my hands dirty. I have included a picture below of what I am in search for. Btw, that is not my Edge on the photo. Thanks!!
  6. Hello, A couple of weeks ago my wife was driving in Atlanta and was clipped in the driver side mirror. It literally just took off the mirror and back cover of the driver side mirror. I've replaced the mirror and as I did I came across this connector. Does anyone know what it could be for? I don't see anything it could connect to on the new mirror and the passenger side doesn't appear to have that connector. Just curious if anyone knows. Brian South Carolina
  7. I have a 2015 EDGE , Titanium pkg, with passive, automatic door locks. During the recent winter storm a falling tree branch of exactly the right diameter wedged itself into the space between the handle and car door. The handle is "sprung" out but still operational via the electronic touch system to lock and unlock the door. However the handle will not open the door mechanically. I need to somehow re-position the handle without damaging the existing ( and functional) electronics. Any diagrams of door handle or other thoughts appreciated. And yes based upon the odds of this happening I did buy a lottery ticket.
  8. I bought a used 2015 Ford Edge Titanium. The sunroof works. It goes back like it should. However, when I close it, it works fine the first half but then stops. When I click close again it doesn't close. I have to hold the close button, which is fine, but when I hold to close, it closes slowly and makes a clicking noise. Seems like something is off. Anybody deal with this before? Thoughts?? Ideas?

  13. Hi everyone, First post here, but I've done a lot of browsing over the last weeks! I'm going to be graduating into the Ford Edge family soon. I was going to get a 2015, but after actually using the Sync 3 recently I've decided that it's worth jumping into a 2016 instead. However, I'm very much wavering between the Titanium FWD and the Sport. Advantages in the Titanium, as I see them: 2.0L v4 turbo engine drives very similarly to the v6 that is available outside of the Sport, and beats the Sport by a ~4mpg on average, especially since they've done away with FWD on the 2016 sport. Cost savings of several thousand dollars Very comfortable ride Advantages in the Sport: More fun ride Better in inclement weather I like the trim/look better My use case: 99% city driving, lots of freeways (los angeles area)Is there anything that I'm not thinking of, here? Any recommendations from you Edge vets? Thanks!!!

  15. Hey Everyone - I'm new to the forum. Just picked up my Edge on the weekend. Loving it! Driven it around a couple days and I have had people stop to ask me about it - Love that feeling. I got it in Tuxedo Black Metallic with the upgraded 20" Aluminum Wheels, 301A package, 3.5L V6, and the Canadian Touring Package. I'm in Toronto, Ontario - have only seen a handful of 2015's on the road - and only one other Titanium. Cheers, Conrad
  16. Hello all! I recently purchased a 2015 Ford Edge - Titanium AWD - V6 - White Platinum exterior Cognac interior. I live in Texas. I drove a 2001 Ford Escape in college, but before this my last 2 vehicles were Toyota (Camry and most recently a 2007 Rav4). I was deciding between the Ford Edge Sport, Acura RDX and the Nissan Murano. I started out looking at the Murano because of the features. But it just didn't 'fit'. I couldn't get the exact Edge I wanted in this area (Blue/Red/White, AWD Sport with 402a) and I didn't want to go through the order process. So that is when I started seriously considering the Acura RDX (there was a blue one, AWD in my area and it is a great vehicle and it was going to cost very similar to the Sport Edge AWD with 402a). I ended up coming back to the Edge in the Titanium model for a few reasons. 1. There was one on the lot at a dealer that gets FANTASTIC reviews (and for good reason - I had a 'too good to be true' experience myself). 2. I had already decided I was willing to give up the HP for the RDX so I figured why not give the V6 Titanium a chance. 3. I saved about $3,000 4. The Ford has way more features than the Acura. 5. I rented a Titanium 2.0L Ecoboost AWD in Colorado for vacation and I really liked it, so I had extra confidence this was the 'right fit'. 6. Although the White Ford Edge is going to be all over DFW, I feel like the Cognac interior, V6 and AWD make it a little more unique, and that is important to me. 7. I didn't really like the all black interior of the Sport and I really didn't like the suede insert in the seats, or the seat comfort which felt inferior to the perforated Titanium seats to me. Based on the FordEtis search I did my build date was 8/24/2015 so I'm hoping I don't have the issues so many of you have posted about with rattles and the horrible leak situation! Time will tell. The Edge barely fits in my garage but it does!! I spent all weekend reading the entire manual (I skimmed some of the maintenance stuff which my husband will own) and setting up my code/ambient lighting/lift gate height/seat & mirror memory settings/phone/navigation. All in all I couldn't be more excited! This seems long winded but I'm new to forums and again, I'm so excited!
  17. source: http://www.torontosun.com/2015/02/26/the-new-ford-edge These look like pretty official pictures meant for a press release... My guess is that this is a special one-off example for promotional reasons, but it's sure going to confuse a lot of people when they try to order an Electric Spice Titanium only to find that the color is only available for the Sport model
