    Volume control

Hi all, I have the 2011 Edge Sel (secondhand. Since I acquired it, it came with the detail.). The knob on the central control doesn't work when I want move up or down the vol (no screen shows any alerts or movements.) all have the same vol (radio, bluetooth connection, calls..) the volume button on the wheel does not work, but only that, the voice command, the set button are working. Mykey is enabled but It does not have any restrictions, if so, you could lower the volume but not raise it to the maximum, I think so. Nor can I modify any settings that have to do with audio on the screen. If someone knows what is happening and can explain it to me, I will appreciate it.

SSM 47424 – 2017-2018 Various Vehicles – Speed Compensated Volume Feature Inoperative Some 2017-2018 Continental, MKC, MKX, MKZ, and Fusion vehicles with an instrument panel center mounted speaker and 2017-2018 Escape vehicles with Sony audio systems may exhibit an inoperative speed compensated volume feature. This may be due to the calibration in the audio control module (ACM). To correct the concern, reprogram the ACM to the latest calibration using the appropriate Ford scan tool release 110.03 or higher. Make sure you are connected to the internet when entering module programming to obtain the latest updates. 3. Sometimes when using the volume up/down rocker on the steering wheel, it either doesn't response, or it "sticks", either minimizing the volume or blowing my ears off. It doesn't appear to be physically sticking or experiencing issues, and it's extremely clean (never had a spill or water, etc). Is this is a software bug, does anyone else encounter it?

    Variations in GPS voice volume

We have a 2013 Ford Edge Sport. We are having a difficult time getting the volume of the voice for the GPS to stay at a reasonable level. It's possible we did something to lower it, unknowingly, although I don't know how. It got really quiet. We could barely hear it. We adjusted the System settings (I think it was the "System Prompt Volume"). We got the voice volume back up. It was OK for a while. But then, it got quiet again. And again, we raised the volume. Now it's too loud. We keep turning it down, but it doesn't seem to matter. There is also a setting under "Voice Control/Voice Control Volume". But I don't think this is the one we want. Can someone help us??? Patti
  5. Yesterday, I drove to the gym and back, all the audio worked, normal radio, normal Line-In for the iPhone music. Today, I turned it on all normal normal, and while everything appears to be functioning correctly, I'm getting zero volume. I know CD's are playing because the track time is playing, I know the radio is getting reception because it describes the station... yet with the volume on, mid-range or all the way up, nothing is happening. No white noise, no high-pitched whines... nothing. I checked all the fuses for everything related and those are all fine. Any other ideas out there? Has this happened to anyone else?
