    hello, Did anyone replaced the weatherstrip as diy job? Without removing the rear fixed glass....

    Don't know what they are called exactly, the inside plastic cover for the side view mirrors are made in a way that they have a pointing edge at the top which apparently will tear the weatherstrip. Its the same on both driver & passenger doors, but the marks are now more apparent on the passenger side. See attached images, hope they are clear. Was wondering if it is a design thing on all Edges/MKX or something is missing or misfit in my car.
