2008 Edge Starter Problems?

I was wanting to know if anyone was aware of starter/starting issues with the Edges? The starter on my 08' SEL, 43k miles, was dragging (not retracting the starter gear from the flywheel after the engine started) randomly for half a second or so, then one morning the starter stuck engaged and was still turning the engine over even after the key was shut off and removed from the ignition. I had to pull the battery cable to stop it. I replaced the starter with a new one assuming it was faulty with a remaned Ford starter, but 3 months later it has done it again, this time with no warning, again had to pull the battery cable to stop it. This time I reconnected the battery cable, it had blown the 30 Amp starter fuse (underhood fuse box, location 41), I replaced the fuse and the car is back to working great again, no welded contacts in the solenoid.

I'm assuming this is a computer problem, since the computer controls the starting sequence once you turn the key. Does anyone know if it is a sensor that the computer reads when the engine fires then it dissengages the starter, or is it a timed sequence? Could this senor be going faulty and thinking the engine isn't started yet when it really is? That still doesn't explain it still trying when the key is off and out of the ignition! I just have a hard time believing two different starters could be faulty and "run away" within 3 months of each other.

Anybody heard of anything like this before? Any TSB's about this?
