I am looking to replace my factory stereo with an after market that is compatible with the factory steering wheel controls as well as the aux input that is in the center console. My HU works with the steering wheel controls, just required an optional piece I had to purchase separately. Check out Crutchfield.com Their site will tell you if it's combatible with your steering wheel. Lots of units have aux inputs and usb inputs that are in the back of the unit if you have a long enough cord you could run it to your glove box to keep it out of site, or around to the tray in front of the gear shift.
