Denzel2013 Report post Posted June 3, 2013 Hi, everything was fine on my 2008 Edge SEL AWD until the sunshades stop working, I never noticed something wrong with them they worked smoothly all the time; but today when try to close both Vista Roof and sunshades, only the glass worked but the sunshades remain at open position, when try to close I listen a sound on the motor like it's stucked but not sure. Cellbine Report post Posted June 7, 2013 I don't have a vista roof, but he only thing I could think of is something is wrong with the gears. Approximately in 2009 the sunroof would not close as several people have posted on this forum. The dealership took it all apart and fixed the problem. No problem until now. As in yours, my roof opens and closes fine but the shade will not budge. I don't want to take it to the dealer as I am sure it will be big bucks. Any suggestions from anyone would be most helpful.
