shabbu Report post Posted November 17, 2013 I am about to buy an Edge AWD but have a few options to consider first. Can Edge cross through water without halting. I live in a rainy area and sometimes the streets flood so was wondering what is the maximum depth it can handle. Is it as good as the F-150 or comparable somewhat. Edged Up Report post Posted November 17, 2013 If I were going thru a gigantic puddle like you speak of I'd want a F150. Edge might look sleeker doing it though. don't think the AWD on the Edge is off road capable. Better than a FWD but it aint no comparison to a F150. Them some big puddles. holyshift Report post Posted December 29, 2013 I use my Edge AWD for hunting alot. Mainly waterfowl so going in and out of cornfields is a must. If its too mushy I wont bother.
