Mckmrgn1 Report post Posted May 1, 2015 Two years ago, I had the fan assembly replaced. Of course it has now went out again. This time I decided to replace it myself. Once I got it installed and hooked the battery back up , and the fan came on, and runs constantly. Even after I have turned the ignition off. It just won't stop. Any ideas? Heisenberg Report post Posted May 6, 2015 Some connection is clearly hooked straight to the battery some how. Any way you mixed up the electrical connections?
Mckmrgn1 Report post Posted May 6, 2015 Yeah, it's plugged up correctly. Funny thing is, I took a trip this weekend, and plugged it in while driving. It went off at some point during the drive home. So when I got home it wasn't running when I turned the car off. It came on an hour or so later. It's little weird.
WWWPerfA_ZN0W Report post Posted May 6, 2015 Did you use Ford/Lincoln or aftermarket assembly? Sometimes the connector is not very tight or falls off. I'd check the wiring around that first. Then move on to the possibility of problems with the A/C pressure switch (ACPSW) or ACP transducer sensor circuits.
