Dang, that looks pretty darn good! Maybe I will check out UHaul. Can I ask how much it set you back?

Looks reasonable to me for a vehicle that Ford doesn't sell with a hitch option.

Any noticeable effect to the hands-free on the lift gate?

What will you be towing? I feel like its going to be super low to the ground and the trailer will be on a downward slant.

Sounds like a good time. When I lived up in Michigan, we had jet skis and would be using them all summer long. Once I moved to this area, it was impossible to keep them. Storage was an issue and very costly. Plus access was not as easy.

So now I just paddle my canoe around

Natem91, did they had to run wiring to the hood of the car for the harness? Or was the wiring already there from the factory?

It looks pretty good.

You could maybe try to cover up the wiring harness cables with electric tape.

Thinking about doing this to mine. But I wasn't sure if anyone has any idea about warranty. Like you I will be pulling a single motorcycle and trailer (hardly much weight at all).

It won't void your warranty. And if they try to say it does, they have to prove how adding a hitch resulted in whatever issue you are currently having.

That's what I was thinking too, ordering it tonight anyway. Shouldn't be too bad of an install.

Did you have a chance to look at the wiring harness? Is it plug and play or from the front?

It went up into the taillight assembly, so I assume it is plug and play

ordered my hitch and curt connector tonight. I'll post up once the stuff arrives and the ease of install.

Yes, got the hitch and harness from curt. The part numbers are 13224 for the hitch, and 56272 for the harness. Was $200 shipped (Canadian). Pretty good deal!

I was thinking about going with the hidden hitch but it actually looks like the curt is covered more.
