Hello . I have a 2013 Sport Awd.

i have switched mostly all my lights in the interior and exterior to led. I’ve always wanted fog lights on my edge but unfortunately it only came in the drl. Which are mediocre at best. I was wondering if anybody has installed some fog lights on their vehicles and if so how they wired it. I’m not looking for spotlights or anything like that . I’m looking for something i can switch out the bulbs to some super bright led. Not sure if it makes a lot of sense but the vision i have is definitely a great look. I was thinking i could maybe cut some of the lower grill to install the fogs.

Dont know if it matters, but fog lights are not supposed to be super bright. Their purpose is to provide illumination only at the edge of the road.

In inclement weather, your vision is extremely limited. Under such conditions, its assumed that your travelling at a very low speed, 10-15 mph, and fog lamps are designed to  light the edge of the road; not the driving lane. If you can find the side of the road, you know your not driving left of center.

I think what your looking for are additional headlights. These would be illegal in all states.

Oh I absolutely understand. Where i live there isn’t much fog . Mostly open country roads. The lightning out here at night is horrendous. Not many street lamps. This isn’t something I’ll be running 24/7 but definitely thought I’d be a cool look to add some real bright lights and integrate them into the grill or something.
