Mister Bill Posted October 13, 2022 Report Share Posted October 13, 2022 I have a 2018 Edge 2.0, 80k miles in my shop with the water intrusion issue. Low compression on #4. I understand the issue was resolved with the 2020 model year engine. I have a question, perhaps for a Ford tech. Can I replace the engine with a 2020 model from a wrecked vehicle? Is the long block assy the same externally?, What compatibility issues might I face? I have searched and can not find the info. Thank you.
