2022FordEdge Report post Posted October 26, 2022 So my wife’s edge is acting strange.. if someone pushes the start button with out press brake it’s throwing a code. Unlike other edges that just say “press brake to start” so if someone jumps in her edge pushed the start button and don’t press brake it throws the code that does not go away unless it’s cleared..anyone seen this before?? Haz Report post Posted October 27, 2022 Presuming you will have your dealer's Service department resolve this issue, this from the 2022 Edge Workshop Manual is just an FYI... BCM DTC Fault Trigger Conditions B108A:9E Start Button: Signal Stuck On Sets continuous when the BCM detects only one switch input circuit indicating open when the start button is released. Possible Causes Battery voltage concern Fuse Wiring, terminals or connectors PATS concern Push button ignition switch BCM Good luck! Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

2022FordEdge Report post Posted October 27, 2022 Dealer tried start button, BCM, and battery. Still got the issue..when you hold the start button and don’t press the brake it’s throwing a hard fault that does not go away. I tried multiple other edges and they just simply prompt me to push the brake no matter how long I hold start button.. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
